What you'll do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Handyperson to join us working across our Keyworker resident sites based in Chertsey and Kingston. Your role will be to provide a comprehensive and professional repairs and maintenance services in line with our service standards framework and contractual obligations. You’ll also ensure onsite repairs and maintenance services in accordance with relevant health & safety policies, regulations and legislations. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own stock across the 2 sites, in addition supervising works done by third party contractors. This role will also require you to work on an on-call rota which offers a cash-based allowance.

What you’ll need

  • You’ll have working knowledge of fire, health and safety regulations in a residential setting.
  • You’ll have basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting and decorating skills within a residential setting.
  • A working knowledge of using IT systems such as Microsoft Outlook.
  • Effective communication skills and time management skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
