Customer Account Manager

County Supplies, a trading division of Hertfordshire County Council, was established in 1954 and is built on the premise of being a supermarket for educational establishments specialising in soft FM services and educational resources. Our vision is to enable schools to deliver an education every child deserves and continually satisfy our customers through delivering educational services and resources that teachers trust, that purchasers’ value and that brings quality to life.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Account Manager to join us to manage and grow our territory and group of customers, whilst achieving company objectives and delivering excellent customer service. You will have strong business acumen and solid negotiating skills and be able to work on your own initiative.

You will be reporting to the Customer Account Team Leader, providing account progress updates, business intelligence and support.  This role is strategical and requires extensive knowledge of the educational market including, but not limited to stationary, cleaning and curriculum-based products.  You will also have a good understanding of ICT and a willingness to learn new systems. You will also need to hold a full driving licence.
