An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Southwark Anti-Social Behaviour Team for a Senior ASB Officer to manage the delivery of the service.
As a Senior ASB Officer you will support, empower and develop a team of officers to deliver effective solutions to cases of ASB within Southwark. You will work closely with customers to ensure they feel supported to take positive action to address ASB and improve the overall quality of life for people in Council housing and estates. You will possess a significant focus and experience of support and interventions and helping people to change behaviours but also understand how to take effective enforcement action when needed.
You will also work in close collaboration with both internal and external partners to ensure that the work of the ASB service compliments the work of the Safer Partnership, is delivered in line with ASB Strategy and operates on a value for money basis.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of how social housing providers can deal with anti-social behaviour in communities, have the ability to lead, manage and engage staff effectively, be able to build effective relationships with a wide range of agencies and partners and have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work using own initiative.
