Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join our small but busy HR team. The role is generalist, so offers lots of variety - it covers everything from recruitment and training to wellbeing and procedure development, all within an organisation of circa 50 employees.

Our HR teams sits within the Business Support function, which covers areas like equality, diversity and inclusion, employer health and safety and customer service. The HR Officer reports to the Senior HR Advisor and will play a key role in the team and organisation, leading on and participating in exciting projects and initiatives to drive best practice and continuous improvement. The right person will have the ability to build strong working relationships with ease, vital when partnering with our senior managers on recruitment, employee engagement and relations, training, performance, management etc. Strong communication and influencing skills are key!

Our head office is in Croydon, but the role is a mix of home working and office based.

We need someone who is organised, thrives on being busy and enjoys being part of a team.

What can we offer?

Working as part of a small and generalist team means you will have lots of opportunities to learn and grow and will have an influence over change management and continuous improvement.

It is an exciting time to join the organisation. Post pandemic, we are finding our ‘new normal’ and working on cultural improvements across the Association.

Our competitive benefits package includes:

  • Matching pension contributions (up to 10%)
  • Private Health Scheme and Simplyhealth cash plan
  • Flexible/agile home working
  • Option to buy and sell holiday
