An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join Step2Skills, as a Quality Improvement Officer.
The post holder will identify and implement quality improvement practices, including the research and piloting of new processes, across all Step2Skills’s own and subcontracted provision, including ESFA-funded work and projects funded from other sources. They will be expected to act as the Ofsted nominee and lead the organisation in preparation for inspection. They will lead the Observation of Teaching and Learning and implement the service SAR and QIP.

Step2Skills is based at County Hall Hertford, is funded by the government and part of Hertfordshire County Council. It is responsible for delivering adult and family learning across Hertfordshire, engaging with around 5,000 learners each year. It has a direct delivery team, and subcontracts other delivery to well- established local learning partners. The service was last inspected by Ofsted in 2020 when it was judged as 'Good'.
