The HR Operations team is responsible for all aspects of the employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding of new starters, managing contractual changes to processing leavers. We also provide administrative support for our learning management system and HR Intranet – the HR Hub. Support is also provided to other HR Teams by way of running reports and assisting with the administration of ER matters. The team are also the first point of contact for HR so are also responsible for a number of general HR queries.
About the Role
As HR Operations Team Leader, your main area of responsibility will be to lead and develop the team of HR administrators to continuously improve operational results to achieve/exceed SLA/KPIs. The role will be responsible for high-standard delivery of HR lifecycle operations and customer experience to ensure that we deliver on our commitments across the Council and to candidates and new starters.
As a successful team leader, you will be a motivational leader, embodying the skills you coach your team in.
You are an action oriented individual, curious, who thrives in resolving difficult cases and embraces the challenge and finds joy in streamlining processes.
You have very good organisation and interpersonal skills, who enjoys developing others.
You are an inquisitive problem solver highly attentive to details, with the ability to independently plan work and prioritise tasks of self and others.
