The starting salary for this position is £29,291 per annum for working 36 hours per week. This position is offered on a 7-month secondment or fixed-term basis.
Our dedicated IT and D Service Hub Team provide first line support to keep Surrey County Council's 11,000 strong workforce working when it comes to IT. Our team are integral to keeping our staff providing vital services to the residents of Surrey, it’s as simple as that.
With the largest workforce in Surrey and a diverse range of different technology and software supporting our staff to do their jobs, the queries and support needed is often challenging but rewarding if you are motivated by helping people and solving problems.
On a day-to-day basis you will be putting your IT knowledge and customer service skills to the test by providing technical support to help solve queries, working where needed with 2nd and 3rd line support teams. We also welcome and encourage our team to contribute and develop ideas that mean we are always getting better and enhancing the service we provide.

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage different work
- A commitment to / passion for delivering first class customer service
- IT knowledge – experience of using software packages, including call-logging systems and experience of troubleshooting and working in an IT support environment
We support agile working, however we do ask our colleagues to attend our office in Woodhatch Place, Reigate, typically for a minimum of 1 day a week as part of the customer-facing service we provide.
