More Information

Administration Assistant

This position is a job share working 15 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks of the year) and will be paid at Grade 4.  Working hours 8.30am to 16.30 (Wednesday and Friday).

Duddon St. Peter's School is a small primary school, nestling in the Cheshire countryside. We have a happy and caring environment. Our hope is that each child in the school will have an opportunity to achieve their full potential.  The school is fully committed to providing a safe environment for all children to learn in and safeguarding is a high priority.

The governors of this small, friendly Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Admin Assistant (Finance) to join our school staff.

The candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to run an organised and efficient office, often acting as the ‘face’ of the school and having excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of Unit 4 and SIMS is desirable, but not essential.  The candidate must be able to use technology proficiently.

Applicants will ideally have previous experience of working in an educational establishment and deliver a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will need to be flexible in their approach, able to multitask and enjoy working as part of a team.

Visits to school are warmly welcomed and positively encouraged. Please contact Mr Paul Hudson, Headteacher, for an appointment.

Informal enquiries and visits to school are most welcome.  Closing Date: 05/09/2022, 2.00pm.

Interviews week commencing 12/09/2022.
