The opportunity has arisen to join the busy Commercial Team ISO9001 accredited, the Soft FM part of the in-house Facilities Management services this is a full-time role within the Commercial team lead by the Central Support Manager.
The Commercial team deliver a wide range of soft service contracts for the council’s corporate property portfolio as well as organising events both inhouse and for the community.

The Event Coordinator post holder will provide support to the commercial Team Manager in the supervision of the Events Team. Ensuring that booking requests are received, processed, and allocated in line with procedure. Providing an effective and responsive front-line service for visitors to the council’s buildings for events ensuring a high level of professionalism is always maintained. To support the team in maintaining the departments income target, reporting on the income and expenditure for events to the Commercial Team Manager as well as running monthly reports on finance and performance and presenting consolidation of data to Facilities Senior Management Group for their monthly dashboard meeting. To undertake a large number of financial duties whilst ensuring to keep in line with the financial regulations set out within the organisation. Ensuring venues are compliant with Health & Safety legislations when undertaking events and that clients have signed the term and conditions with a thorough understanding of them prior to confirming a booking.
