Starting Salary: £21,269 pa

Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People enables young people to succeed through targeted prevention and early intervention. We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Senior Support Officer with good communication skills, to work as part of a team within the NCS Team. You will provide a full range of administrative and office duties to a high standard including management information systems, answering phone and email queries, processing invoices and timesheets and planning and supporting the NCS programme.
Good IT and verbal and written communication skills are essential and the role requires a high level of confidentiality, patience and accuracy. A quick learner, you will need to be confident, very organised, flexible in your approach to your work, able to use your own initiative and prioritise your workload and be confident in working in a range of settings.
Flexibility to travel and work at sites across Hertfordshire essential with access to your own vehicle with the ability to travel.

Driving Roles Only: As part of this role, you will be required to travel to other HCC Sites/Residences either using your own mode of transport or a company car. In light of this, the ability to drive and/or travel around the County is required for this role a DVLA check will be required on appointment.
English Fluency: The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
