Day Care Assistant
Locations:
George Mason Lodge, Leytonstone, - Care home for older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia.
Mapleton Road, Chingford - Care home for older people and people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia.
Alliston House, Walthamstow - Care home for older people and people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and people living with dementia.
All services are inspected by the Care Quality Commission and aspire to be Outstanding.
Working Pattern:
working between 7:00am and 9:30pm, including weekend and bank holiday working as required in order to meet the needs of our residents.
Ideally applicants should be qualified to a minimum of QCF/NVQ level 2/3 for the Day Care Assistant posts, however the ability to demonstrate a caring demeanour and key skills such of empathy, respect, dignity, and a willingness to learn is equally important. Candidates must demonstrate that they have the ability to read and write in English and be prepared to undertake a written test and demonstrate basic IT skills.
You must be able to work in line with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and the national and local strategy, whilst also remaining accountable for ensuring that you provide a safe, effective and quality service for those who use our service.
