Contract type - Temporary – 32.5 hours, 38 weeks per year
Salary Band - Grade 5, £20,043 – £22,129 (pro rata)

The governors of Kelsall Primary and Nursery School are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to lead and support the children in our 2-year-old classroom. Our successful candidate will need experience of working with nursery children and be fully conversant with the EYFS framework.
The newly appointed person will need to support the nursery teacher in planning and delivering lessons using a variety of teaching strategies to engage all learners. The successful candidate will also work with other support staff members, SEN coordinators and school senior leadership to carry out small group and one-to-one sessions of support outside of class. In addition, provide academic intervention and support with the aim to raise pupil’s attainment and ensure they achieve their potential. Promote positive behaviour by being a good role model and forming professional working relationships.
