As one of our mobile cleaners, you will be responsible for providing a professional cleaning service to our communal internal and external areas as directed by Optivo. You will also provide end of tenancy cleans to our void properties providing a high-quality service from to start to finish.
You will work alongside a team of 15 cleaners throughout Swale, Medway and surrounding areas with a fully equipped vehicle carrying out your cleaning duties.
No day’s the same, you will work across a varied area with varying workload, using our cleaning app to document your cleaning at various Optivo sites. You will enjoy engaging with our residents and providing them with a 1st class service.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working 36 hours per week. Extensive travel, throughout the Kent region, is required (vehicle provided).
What can you bring?
We are looking for self-motivated, driven people, who can work under their own initiative and have a high level of health and safety awareness.
You will ideally have 1-2 years cleaning experience as a multi-site cleaner. However, this is not essential as full training will be given.
As part of the role, you must have a valid clean driving licence and ideally have the following skills:
- Previous cleaning experience with void/end tenancy cleans
- A good knowledge of health and safety/ COSHH
- Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workloads and problem solve
- IT literate including use of a smart phone
- Keep record of equipment checks and regular maintenance of equipment
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work
