We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Trainee to join a growing, customer and colleague focused organisation as we prepare for our forthcoming merger with Southern Housing Group, planned for January 2023.
You will provide help and support to the Management Reporting Team in the delivery of management accounts, reports, forecasts and budgets. This will be a great development opportunity for you, where you will shadow senior staff within the Finance department and enhance your skills and knowledge.
The role is being offered on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment working 36 hours per week. Although we would be willing to offer the role on a part time basis. Following the completion of your induction period, hybrid working will be introduced.
What you’ll need
- To be considered for the role you’ll need to be AAT Level 2 qualified or be currently working towards this (or similar).
- You’ll have knowledge of Microsoft Excel with a willingness to develop these skills towards intermediate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A 'can -do' attitude with enthusiasm to take on new challenges.
- A strong analytical approach.
- Good attention to detail.
Due to the location of our office, it is highly recommended that you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
