We have two roles that will help us become a more commercial and business-like Council, using new innovative tools and techniques to manage costs, while constructively challenging the norm to generate value from the full range of commercial opportunities available to us.
As Commercial Transformation Lead for Programme Delivery, you will oversee our hugely significant commercial programme. Working with key stakeholders across the Council and wider region, you will ensure projects are scoped, prioritised, and resourced, and that anticipated outcomes are achieved. Whilst you will mainly work in a co-creative and collaborative way to support others, you will also take personal responsibility for leading cross-organisational networks, managing ad-hoc teams to deliver exciting pivotal projects, and aiding the growth of a truly commercial culture.
As Commercial Transformation Lead for Traded Services you will lead the delivery of a radical shift in how we trade with other organisations. Working closely with a range of customers, service leads, partners, and stakeholders, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of workstreams that deliver sustainable changes aimed at professionalising our approach and making us a leader in the field. In addition, you will also become the key account manager for all traded services, engaging with customers and markets to generate new leads, while retaining existing customers, and working with services to continuously adjust to shifting customer and market demands.
In line with our new ways of working, this role is hybrid and will involve working from home with occasional working in our agile hub at Atlas House in St Helens Town Centre.
