You will work within our relationship-based, trauma informed family-led practice model. We will be confident in your social work practice and be able to make informed decisions. You will be a highly skilled assessor who understands statutory requirements, as well as implementing, monitoring and reviewing children’s wellbeing and play a key role within multi-agency meetings.

Working within the Children with Disabilities service you will use your knowledge and experience to support disabled children to achieve their aspirations and become as independent as they can be.
Our vision is to build a Trust that provides excellent social work and family support for and with the city’s most vulnerable children, young people and families.
You will be a passionate, motivated and committed Social Worker who has completed their ASYE and has core and valuable previous experience within Children Services.
You will be able to build effective relationships, carry out in-depth assessments, be confident in partnership working with children, families and professionals, enabling their full participation in assessment, planning, review and decision making.
You will be able to work independently and be a key team player and be able to support less experienced social workers and students in your team.
You must hold a recognised social work qualification and have current active registration with Social Work England.
