We are looking to appoint a project manager to lead the delivery of exciting regeneration projects in Melton. In the role of a Senior Projects Delivery Officer you will lead a small team of enthusiastic and capable regeneration officers in developing the Council’s commercial and place shaping aspirations.
In this pivotal role, you will drive forward an ambitious programme of a range of initiatives and projects on behalf of the Council to drive economic growth, increase commercial return and facilitate regeneration. You will lead the Council’s submissions for funding bids to bring forward developments and attract inward investment.
This is an exciting time for you to join us and develop your career across a broad spectrum of work involved in town centre development, delivery of UKSPF investment plan, and initiatives to increase tourism and business support.
The successful candidate will be passionate about place shaping and delivering regeneration. You will be driven and motivated with an eye for detail. You will be a team player but confident to work independently and have a flexible attitude to working under pressure. We are looking for an individual with a positive outlook and a desire to deliver a quality service to the community we serve.
A thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications is key and you will have an excellent working knowledge of excel and databases and be able to produce detailed reports as well as be able to maintain and update electronic information systems in accordance with data protection regulations. A working knowledge and understanding of project management tools will be helpful along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
