Foxfield School are looking to recruit a number of mid-day assistants to join their highly successful secondary school for pupils with complex learning difficulties.

The Governors are seeking to appoint hard working, energetic and committed professionals to work in this vibrant and dynamic school. The successful candidates must have the enthusiasm and skills to meet the diverse needs of pupils in the school who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and other associated difficulties such as ASD, sensory impairments or complex and challenging behaviours.

The post holders may be required to work across the school, supporting in the delivery of a range of curriculum subjects and will be able to contribute to the continuing development of the school and its curriculum. Good team working skills, flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude are essential. The post holder will also be expected to support the pupils' general welfare; to develop positive working relationships with the teachers, other teaching assistants, therapy and medical staff, administration staff, midday assistants and parents.
