Candidate Engagement Manager

Who we are...?

Firstly, let’s tell you about us. We’re passionate about helping organisations that make a difference to overcome skill shortages, to reach and attract the talent they need. We run the biggest job board in the public sector space, jobsgopublic, and have operated in the industry for over 20 years. The job board is well known and has a great reputation.

But we’re more than just a job board.

We also work alongside local government, social workers, and various other public sector organisations, to build out multi-faceted advertising campaigns to promote their roles and attract the best candidates.

What has been testament to our success has been our ongoing relationship with public sector jobseekers, which we want to continue to nurture.

Here’s where you come in!

Our main product is our job board, and our job board is nothing without our sector specific database. We’re looking for someone to join our marketing team and run our candidate engagement outreach. This will include developing and promoting educational content to support their careers and building a community with our candidates. You will also need to regularly undergo research into trends within our target demographic is ensure our content is on topic and being promoted in the right place (for example, should we be on tiktok…?)

What we need…

This is a great opportunity for someone that has been working within a marketing role for a few years and is looking to take on some more responsibility. This role will involve a wide marketing mix, and we want you to get creative with your content.

If would be great (but not essential) if you had…

  • Experience with Mailchimp or a similar email marketing tool
  • Have previously worked within social media management
  • Experience creating and implementing a content strategy, including social media outreach, email marketing and PPC
  • Experience creating content, whether that be video, blog and whitepaper.

Why join us?

Some of our benefits include 27 days holiday, above normal pension contribution, healthcare (including optical and dental), social events and 4:30pm Friday finishes.

We offer a hybrid working environment, but we only ask that you venture into the office twice a month.

At heart, we’re a relaxed bunch but we really mean business when it comes to our services. We believe in what we do. We are commercial thinkers but understand thoroughly the complex frustrations our public sector clients go through daily.
