Salary £23,953 pa - £26,445 pa + Car Allowance up to £1,239 pa

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly Wellbeing Team delivering lifestyle support to people in the Community. The Wellbeing Hub is part of a county-wide programme in West Sussex to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent ill-health in our local communities. The hub provides information, advice and signposts local people to services for help and support.  The service for Mid Sussex is delivered by Mid Sussex District Council.

The service is currently looking to employ an Alcohol Wellbeing Advisor on a permanent contract. The post holder will report directly to the Senior Wellbeing Advisor and will develop and deliver an alcohol support service to provide early interventions to adults (18+) who are drinking at Increasing risk and Higher risk levels, in order to prevent alcohol-related harm and possible future dependence on alcohol.

If you have experience in health and wellbeing and have, a background in project delivery and working with clients to promote behaviour change then we’d like to hear from you.

Previous experience delivering alcohol interventions is not essential as full training will be provided.
