About Us:

All Saints CofE School is a small two form entry junior school located in Maidenhead. The pupils are delightful as is their behaviour, they love the school grounds and look after them well. Staff are governors and are supportive of each other and work together to ensure the best educational experience for our children.

We are looking to appoint a School Business Manager (SBM) to manage the strategy and business functions of our school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced, at the start of their SBM journey, or looking for a different experience. We are currently going through the academy conversion which has proved very positive experience. We want to appoint a proactive person who can support the Local Authority and Trust to ensure this remains a smooth transition.

We would expect the School Business Manager to work proactively with internal and external contractors, agencies and visitors, enabling the school to operate effectively and efficiently. Representing the school with pride and excellence. Support for you will be put in place via the Local Authority and later the Trust.

This post is to commence as soon as possible. The working hours are 37 hours per week, all year round.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Experience of working in an office environment at a management level.
  • Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation.
  • Sound Financial Management experience.
  • An accountancy qualification or wiliness to work towards one.
  • Excellent numeracy/literacy skills.
  • Ability to organise, lead and motivate other staff.
  • Work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and your own position within these.
