The Community Safety Assistant provides essential support to the Community Safety Partnership, a multi-agency unit with responsibility for addressing issues of crime and anti-social behaviour. The successful candidate will work with a variety of partner agencies including Kent Police, Kent County Council Community Wardens, Safe Town Partnership officers and many others. The role provides administrative and project support to ensure the smooth running of the Tunbridge Wells Community Safety Partnership.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office setting. You will be IT literate and have a high level of literacy and numeracy. A keen interest in community safety and wellbeing, a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to get stuck in is essential.
The post is based at Tunbridge Wells Town Hall and provides opportunities to work from home.
