People Services Support Officer (Employee Services)
Our People Services team includes employee services (which you may know as HR) and Learning and Development. This friendly and professional team work across the organisation recruiting, developing and retaining our people. We can get very busy at times but we’re a good team and are proud to play our part in enabling focus Adult Social Care to meet the needs of our service users.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
In this versatile role, you will provide business support in relation to our recruitment processes and all aspects of our employee life-cycle. You will assist with the co-ordination and administration of recruitment activities and support the pre-boarding and on-boarding processes for new staff. The work does involve some data processing including sickness (and other absences) notifications, general payroll changes, supervision co-ordination as well as dealing with general enquires to the team
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should be educated to a good standard, be organised with excellent attention to detail. You will need good keyboard skills and feel comfortable using Microsoft Office. The role involves high volume administration at times and you will need to be able to work accurately even when under time pressure. You will be able to liaise effectively with a wide range of colleagues, representing our organisation in every interaction in a professional manner. You should have strong time management skills and be able to multi-task.
Whilst some experience of undertaking administrative roles in an HR field would be an advantage, we are as keen to hear from people with excellent communication and administrative skills together with a positive attitude and approach to work.
