Foxfield School are looking to recruit a number of teaching assistants to join their highly successful secondary school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. The successful candidates will be required to take up a full time post from September 2021.

The Governors are seeking to appoint hard working, energetic and committed professionals to work in this vibrant and dynamic school. The successful candidates must have the enthusiasm and skills to meet the diverse needs of pupils in the school who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and other associated difficulties such as ASD, sensory impairments or complex and challenging behaviours.

As a part of a multi professional team of staff the Sports Coach will plan and deliver coaching to the pupils within the school. This will require a differentiated range of delivery methods to be used in response to the diverse range physical needs, communication skills and individual learning styles of the pupils. The Coach will also lead after school activities within their paid hours of employment, and will provide training, advice and support to other staff and appropriate people where necessary.
