We're looking for someone to rely on during a period of peak workload so you'll be trusted to take ownership of your work.

We scrutinise all works on the highway and need someone to help us manage the current surge in work by assisting with all the back office processes. You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training...
To assist the Traffic Manager and the team in processing all financial transations and collating detailed reports for budget monitoring purposes.
Be the first point of contact for the team by phone, email and letter assigning to others where necessary or responding where appropriate.
Assessing various highways licences ensuring they are determined as appropriate, income is reconciled and records are kept up to date.
Assisting the Traffic Manager in specific research and reports primarily concerning finance, management of standards and business continuity.
Providing general admin support to colleagues and be a primary point of contact.

What we're looking for...
Great at prioritising and self-motivated individual, who is creative, innovative, and comfortable working to deadlines. Good communication skills are vital, as are the interpersonal skills it takes to work as part of a team and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
To succeed, you'll need a good general education preferable A Level +, experience of working in a resembling setting with similar responsibilities and experience in financial and general administration. You're also adept at analysing information and producing coherent reports.
