About the role:
The post holder will develop and deliver tailored interventions/programmes to encourage active modes of travel, liaising with schools/businesses/local communities and key stakeholders.
Work with the specified community to deliver a range of interventions to contribute to behaviour change towards road safety & active travel, including the delivery of the Modeshift programme.
The work is varied and interesting, surveying the school community, setting up steering groups, target setting, developing, delivering and monitoring initiatives.
About the candidate:
We are looking for someone who has experience in engaging groups through presentations and tailored interventions.
Your experience should include teaching/coaching groups or individuals. An interest in road safety, environment, health & fitness and well being.
You will need a track record of delivering customer facing projects/working with communities, partnership working and providing advice and guidance.Communication is key skill for this role.
Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
Whilst this is a temporary job funded until the end of March 2023, we are hopeful to continue this important role if funding becomes available.
