Cover Supervisor - Reading School

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week,
Term time only plus 1 week (5 days)
Fixed Term (initially until December 2022)

Reading School are looking for an interim Cover Supervisor to join our cover team. The role is an important one, ensuring our students receive an effective and consistent level of education when teaching staff are not able to deliver their lessons.

To supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task. Cover Supervisors will need to respond to questions and generally assist pupils to undertake set activities.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good interpersonal skills.
  • Has experience of working with young people.
  • Works successfully as a member of a team.
  • Is available to join us immediately.
