Property Officer

Salary £23,194 pa - £25,409 pa  

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Property Officer to provide support to the property part of Estates Services and Building Control in their day to day work, dealing with property related queries, maintenance of property related systems and provision of plans.

Working as a member of our Estates Services & Building Control team, you will  assist with administering and maintaining Tech Forge (our database) and updating all property management records; Updating all tenant records where tenancies and/or terms of leases change; manage the property management system diary system ensuring rent reviews and lease renewals are actioned in a timely manner, and reminding Surveyors to do so.

The role involves extensive liaison with colleagues in other departments and external stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are essential.  As well as a sound understanding of tenancy and property management, you will be expected to demonstrate significant experience of service charges and invoice management. Candidates will be supported should they wish to advance towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. TechRICS, MRICS, ARLA); and further training opportunities exist for the right candidate.
