A new and exciting opportunity to play a key role in the transformation and regeneration of assets, places, and local communities.

Join our new Property and Development service and be part of an innovative and exciting team focusing on targeting, designing, and delivering important commercial developments and ventures; driving the delivery of the levelling up agenda, increasing housing supply, and generating new income growth for Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough councils to make lasting improvements to our places.

In your role as Projects Coordinator within the Development team, you will play a key part in the service, supporting project teams to manage capital projects covering corporate development, planned and major works, asset regeneration, housing delivery, decarbonisation, and new investment.

You will provide project support and administration services, working across the team, and assisting in the monitoring, system processing, and procedural aspects of delivering portfolios of mixed-tenure, high-level capital projects and programmes.

You will be a pro-active, high performing, self-motivated individual with a positive approach who is able to work under pressure and has experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong all round communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships within the organisation as well as with external strategic partners and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy and challenging environment. You must be a team player, working on your own initiatives and organising your own workload. Political awareness and understanding are essential, as you will be exposed to elected councillors, Directors, members of the public, and other key stakeholders.

If you want to make a difference within an exciting and growing service, working across two organisations, we’d love to hear from you.
