Helps and Child Safety Project Worker

HELPs & Child Safety Project Worker

Our children’s centres offer universal and targeted support for families to get the most out of the activities and resources in their community and help them to develop and sustain their own networks of support.

We are ambitious for all children in Halton and believe that with the best start in life, children will be able to achieve their full potential across the course of their life.

‘Unintentional injuries in and around the home are a leading cause of preventable death for children under five years, and are a major cause of ill health and serious disability’.

Halton HELPS was set up to facilitate the provision of safety equipment, resources and information with the aim of preventing accidents in the home for children under 5 years. The project worker will co-ordinate this service offer across Halton
