Farnborough is the base for the Council Offices but this role is fully hybrid with the opportunity to work flexibly between the office and from home having regard to the needs of the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Rushmoor Borough Council at an exciting time as we progress with our major property and regeneration projects. You will be part of a small friendly team with the confidence to build on your training and experience to date in the knowledge that you will be fully supported and developed in role. You will be resilient and able to work under pressure and meet the challenge of juggling property and contract matters for your clients. You will gain exposure to a wide range of property transactions linked to the council’s property portfolio and regeneration projects as well as getting involved in advising on all aspects of the council’s commercial arrangements. Experience of procurement law will be an advantage but is not essential for the role.

To manage your own caseload, prioritise and deliver in line with client expectations, escalating matters as appropriate. To be a team player and support the Property and Regeneration Lawyers and the Corporate Manager – Legal. Please refer to the job description for full information.
