Emotional Health Academy Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an outcome focused manager to lead the development of the West Berkshire Emotional Health Academy (EHA). The EHA is West Berkshire’s innovative early help service for children and young people with emerging emotional and mental health difficulties. The post holder will lead innovation and commercialisation of this dynamic team as well as work strategically on mental health issues within the local authority and with partner agencies.

There are currently exciting developments in West Berkshire including the establishment of two mental health support teams across the authority and the roll out of the therapeutic thinking approach. The service is well-established and hosts a successful multi-agency triage for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

We are looking to recruit a sound experienced mental health practitioner with management experience.

Applicants will need to be experienced mental health practitioners.

The applicant must have a professional qualification e.g. social worker, psychologist. CBT therapist.
