We are seeking an appropriately qualified property maintenance surveyor with experience in building construction, and/or repair and maintenance works to housing properties. Working in a small team, headed by the Responsive Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring repair and maintenance work to the Council`s housing stock is carried out safely and to a high standard.

The ability to work under pressure as part of a team is essential, and you will need to be able to demonstrate good record keeping and the ability to work in partnership with a variety of contractors to achieve common goals. You will also need to be a good communicator, have a positive and proactive attitude, and good customer care skills.

Experience working in the social housing sector would also be beneficial.
