The Governors are seeking to appoint hard working, energetic and committed professional to work in this vibrant and dynamic school. The successful candidate must have the enthusiasm and skills to meet the diverse needs of pupils in the school who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties and other associated difficulties such as ASD, sensory impairments or complex and challenging behaviours.
The post holders may be required to work across the school, supporting in the delivery of a range of curriculum subjects and will be able to contribute to the continuing development of the school and its curriculum. Good team working skills, flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude are essential. The post holder will also be expected to support the pupils' general welfare; to develop positive working relationships with the teachers, other teaching assistants, therapy and medical staff, administration staff, midday assistants and parents. The TA3 may be required to provide cover for an absent teacher by leading appropriate activities within the class for a period of 3 days. This can include providing line management and direction to TA2's and TA1's within the class.
