Community and Events Marketing Manager
The role
This is a brilliant opportunity to inspire our amazing supporters to fundraise for Breast Cancer Now. Your focus will be to develop marketing plans and campaigns for products across the Community & Events portfolio; from third party events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run to our £1,000 Challenge community fundraising product and fundraising volunteer recruitment campaign, amongst others!
You’ll help to create engaging and compelling campaigns and communications to reach both new and existing supporters through digital and integrated campaigns. Working alongside the Community & Events Marketing Officer that you’ll line manage. You’ll be planning, delivering and evaluating multiple campaigns at any one time; this variety and pace will enable you to gain great experience.
It's an exciting time to join Breast Cancer Now, the charity is growing and the Community & Events programme continues to see strong performance. Reporting into the Head of Central Community Fundraising & Marketing, you’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive team with great camaraderie where you’ll have the opportunity to develop in your role.
This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
About you
With strong marketing experience, you’ll be able to skilfully plan and deliver campaigns across both on and offline channels to reach targets. You’ll have experience in helping to develop engaging direct response campaigns and your excellent copywriting skills means you’ll be able to develop key materials for different channels and audiences.
Previous project management experience means you’ll be able to plan, manage and oversee multiple campaigns whilst confidently working with various stakeholders and teams to deliver quality activity on time. With a robust understanding of KPIs, you’ll be able to optimise and evaluate campaigns, applying learnings to improve the performance of future activity.
Together, these skills mean you’ll be able to manage, support and develop the Community & Events Officer in their role.
Whilst it’s a bonus if you’re worked in Community & Events fundraising before, we would welcome applicants from other fundraising disciplines or relevant sectors too.
