We're looking for someone who is passionate and committed to providing support to young people and their families. You will be part of a highly supportive and motivated, multi-disciplinary team that provides support to vulnerable young people and their families to prevent escalation into specialist services. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge with adolescents and families and to truly influence the lives of young people.
You will work directly with families in crisis and to formulate action plans to prevent family breakdown.
You will work with young people in the Youth Justice System and supervise Court orders, to prevent young people escalating within the Youth Justice System and reduce the likelihood of further offending, by working holistically with young people and their families.
You will support families to ensure that they receive the ‘Right Response’ from the appropriate agency at the lowest levels of need without unnecessary delay.
You will work in partnership with a wide range of key organisations and individuals including housing and local services to ensure young people receive appropriate and effective services.
There is no formal qualification required, however having some experience of working with adolescents and families is a requirement of the role
