Early Help Worker (Turnaround)

Early Help Worker (Turnaround Programme)

Sefton’s Youth Justice Service (YJS) has an exciting opportunity to become involved in a new area of prevention work for the service called the Turnaround Programme which is funded by the Ministry of Justice until end March 2025. The expected outcomes for programme include promoting positive outcomes for children at risk of offending, reduce offending and risk-taking behaviour and improve wellbeing.

We have a new position for an Early Help Worker to support the development of the programme. As the successful candidate you will deliver direct work to children and families as well as coordinating interventions through partners. You will carry a caseload for a target number of children and work alongside the Youth Justice Service. You will have experience of working with children and families as well as partners to improve outcomes for children. We are looking for a motivated individual to support the development of a new area of work and we would welcome innovation and enthusiasm.

The role will be office based and will include agile working within the community, also you may need to work outside of core hours on occasions.
