£17,662-£18,061 (depending on length of service), paid 33.5 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year, paid over 52 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants (Level 2) into our mainstream SEN Department working under the guidance of the Assistant Headteacher for SEND and our Deputy SENCO.  One position will involve working within a specific year group supporting a variety of high needs students and the other position will involve working in a one-to-one with an individual student in mainstream.  The successful candidates will be required to work within an agreed system of supervision, to assist with implementing agreed work programmes with groups and to provide one-to-one support for individual students, as required.  To assist the Teachers, HLTAs and TA3s in the whole school planning cycle and the management and preparations of resources.  The successful candidates will have the ability to contribute to the wider activities of the whole school and work as part of a team.
