We are seeking to appoint an HR Recruitment Assistant on a one-year fixed term contract, who will primarily work to recruit hard to fill vacancies across Southwark’s Adults and Children’s services, namely Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

The focus being the on-boarding of new starters in a professional and proactive manner and the successful induction of new hires.  The job holder will support managers with day-to-day recruitment and operational queries as well as support the wider HR team with projects and casework.

About you:

You will have had previous Public Sector experience and have a working of knowledge of recruitment platforms and HR databases.

You will be proactive, used to working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and be able to demonstrate having successfully managed competing priorities.

You will be experienced in supporting bespoke recruitment campaigns particularly hard to fill roles, utilising a variety of methods to attract suitable candidates including advertising on job boards.

You will be experienced in conducting pre-employment checks including right to work checks and various clearances in line with domestic or international recruitment.

You will be a self-starter and work well as part of a team.
