The Governors of Irby Primary School would like to appoint a Year 2 class teacher as maternity cover. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and cheerful member of staff to join our welcoming school family.
Start date: 13/03/2022
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant teaching qualification.
Recent Year 2 experience.
A working knowledge of safeguarding practices and responsibilities.
Ability to deliver a broad and creative curriculum.
Comprehensive understanding of the requirements of the curriculum in year 2 including statutory assessment requirements.
Excellent organisation and planning skills.
A commitment and ability to raise standards for all children.
Understanding of the assessment, recording and reporting of children¿s progress.
Ability to motivate children and provide a stimulating learning environment.
Excellent behaviour management.
Excellent classroom management.
Confidence and competence with IT to enhance teaching and learning.
