Project Support Officer

We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to play a key role in providing administrative support across the Culture & Community division of Medway Council, which encompasses Housing, Planning, Culture & Libraries, Sport Leisure, Tourism & Heritage. 

The successful candidate will work with the Executive Assistant in the division, as well as providing direct support to the Housing Service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Organise and attend meetings producing minutes and actions, providing suitable follow up to ensure key projects are on track with desired outcomes.
  • Lead on the collation of complex reports ensuring that quality, consistency and accuracy are at the heart of information produced by the division.
  • Deal with enquiries from elected members, members of the public and other key agencies ensuring a seamless link to the services that they need.
  • Work autonomously to get ahead of team and divisional tasks or projects to ensure that there is a clear focus on getting things done in the timescales required.
