The starting salary for this role is £29,291 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.
Our main office is Quadrant Court in Woking. Remote working at other times from many bases available within Surrey.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Joint Brokerage Team, which is part of the Adult Social Care Commissioning function.
Working as part of a team you will be required to manage, and respond to, referrals for care support from frontline teams and to respond with options within agreed deadlines. You will be required to source appropriate care support services whilst also achieving best value for the local authority, building relationships and knowledge of providers and services in the community as part of the sourcing process.
We currently have permanent full-time Brokerage Officer vacancies within the Older Persons and Disability Teams. When applying please be clear to advise which team you are applying for.
Please note that there may be an occasional requirement to work some weekends/bank holidays on a rota basis, but this will form part of your 36 hours per week.
You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility, use initiative and be comfortable in managing your own priorities within the set procedures and processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential along with relationship development abilities. You will have a good understanding of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and can work under pressure to tight deadlines.
