About Us:

We are looking for a dynamic manager, capable of working on their own initiative, to develop our wellmaintained 418 property estate in Southwark.

Reporting to the management board the job will include:

• Supporting the board in developing and maintaining its role as a community leader and building on its partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies
• The strategic and operational management of a customer driven housing management service, including tenancy services, repairs, customer services, cleaning, grounds maintenance and other estate services
• To help develop a community vision for the residents of the Gloucester Grove estate and to drive the involvement of those residents to achieve that vision
• To foster involvement from all members of the community including tenants and leaseholders

The person needs:

• At least 3 years experience of managing social housing services such as repairs, tenancy and leasehold management, income management and debt recovery, empty homes, resident involvement and customer services
• Experience of working for a Tenant Management Organisation, or other organisation with a volunteer management committee
• To be flexible and able to multitask
