Introducing Ourselves:

The Adult Social Care Service Development Team works on a variety of exciting workstreams that help to develop and improve our service offer to Sefton residents. Within this team, you will be based in the Project Management Office (PMO), giving you the chance to support and contribute to a variety of change-focused projects within the service.

 Job Details:

The Service Development Team are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our PMO as a Development Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to take their next step into the world of Project Management and Service Development.

The Development Officer will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of existing and new projects. One existing project will be the ongoing maintenance and development of our Tri.X Webpage, which acts as a repository for all procedure, practice, local resources, and standard forms within the remit of Adult Social Care. Strong organisational skills backed by confident IT skills will be essential for the successful candidate.

The Service Development Team is a fast-paced and dynamic place to work, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines.

The role involves contact with a wide range of individuals and organisations including social workers, senior managers, external contacts, service providers and partner agencies. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential elements for the post.

While not essential, some familiarity with Social Care will be useful to the successful candidate.

You will be supported by a team of experienced and helpful professionals and will work with us to achieve the best for our residents.

The role is for a period of 12 months, fixed term. Secondments will be considered.
