Exciting PO4 opportunity to work in the supported Living - commissioning team!
Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.
The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

The commissioning, contracting and market management supported living team provides end-to-end commissioning. As one of the Market Oversight Managers, you will be the strategic commissioning lead for all supported living, extra care and housing related support services. Managing the end to end commissioning cycle from analysis to implementation.
As part of your portfolio, you will also manage the brokerage function and line manage the brokers
Managing all aspects of commissioning and brokerage will mean this role has a varied workflow. You may need to get involved in areas that are directly linked to the councils wider strategic relationships.
The Person
You will have a good understanding of commissioning, contracting, procurement and will have a proven track record of leading on commissioning activity with multiple stakeholders from conception to mobilisation.
