Start to Finish Worker
Do you have the skills and/or experience to support individuals who are at risk, involved or have been involved in the Criminal Justice System needing 1 to 1 support and advocacy to engage and develop the relevant life skills to enable them to live within the community and break the cycle of their offending?
We are seeking someone with the relevant skills to work in partnership with professionals, landlords, voluntary sector and charities, assisting in the delivery of the ‘Start to Finish’ Project. The project works with individuals including 16- to 25-year-old transitioning youths, Domestic Abuse perpetrators and individuals needing support who are engaging with substance misuse services.
You should be forward thinking, well organised with a flexible approach and effective communication skills, able to engage with individuals and partner agencies, understanding the challenges faced within the community.
This post is offered on a fixed term contract initially for 12 months which is likely to be extended in the future.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
