Senior Young Persons Support Worker

If you do, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Young Persons Senior Support Worker on a Permanent basis at our Swan Foyer in Berkhamsted.  


A bit about the role:

As a Young Persons Senior Support Worker you will be assist the Project Manager in the day to day management of a supported housing project for young people aged 16 to 25. You will line manage and motivate Project Workers to meet their objectives and to ensure that all project work undertaken meets the required standard. Some of the key results for the role include: 

  • Line manage and motivate Project Workers to meet their objectives

  • Have a strong commitment to the promotion of equality and diversity

  • Present a positive and professional image

  • Have the ability to work under pressure 

  • Be able to work some unsocial hours when required

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with external agencies

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
