If you do, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Floating Support Worker on a Permanent and part-time basis in Hertfordshire.


A bit about the role:

As a Floating Support Worker you will be you will work with a team of motivated, compassionate and dedicated colleagues to help young people prepare to live independently. Some of the key results for the role include: 

  • Be totally committed to delivering excellent customer experience – embodying our values every day in the way you deal with customers and colleagues

  • Have the ability to work alone and as a part of a team

  • Have good communication and IT skills

  • Ensure young people receive the correct support by working and building effective relationships with wide range of external agencies

  • Keep yourself, your colleagues and young people safe by meeting health and safety requirements and adhering to the services’ and company’s policies and procedures, in particular the Safeguarding and Protection from Abuse Procedure

  • Able to complete some manual work and to regularly climb stairs 

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
