Planning Project Information Officer


We are seeking to recruit a Planning Project Information Officer on a permanent basis.

You will be part of a hardworking and positive Planning Policy team and will play an important role, including project managing and co-ordinating the technical drafting and publishing of policy documents.

You will act as the Council’s specialist on public consultations, by being responsible for the management and use of the Local Plan (and corporate consultation database) and will facilitate public engagement and public consultation events, including exhibitions.

You will have authority to sign claim forms, sign off invoices and raise purchase orders as well as assist Planning Officers in carrying out studies (including survey work) as well as analysing results and preparing reports.

We are interested in hearing from people with demonstrable experience of devising, managing and monitoring databases, with a self-motivated and flexible attitude, able to work with their own initiative and work well as part of a team.
