Building Control Senior Surveyor

About the Role:

These projects will encompass a mixture of major commercial and residential buildings and be valued at over three-billion pounds. Predominantly you will be a technical specialist and will assess plans and attend regular design and site meetings with clients to discuss and inspect what are often leading edge and innovative construction solutions. You will play a primary role in ensuring our performance standards, resources, and income are sufficient to sustain a world class building control service.

About You:

As one of Southwark’s lead technical experts, you will be RICS, CABE, IStructE, IMechE, RIBA, IFE, CIAT, ICE or CIOB qualified and be able to evidence continual professional development. We will support you to continue with your professional development.

You must have experience of working in a city context working in a building control service. You will be working on residential and smaller scale applications and therefore will require experience of working on these.
